In Her Brother’s Footsteps

After a year of watching from the sidelines as Gabe ran around and flexed his preschooler muscles learning sports fundamentals, Bella finally got her turn.  She’s still in dance and swim and loving both, but I rationalized that if it means a little more athletic confidence for my one-handed and perfectly able little Bell, we can fit in one more activity.  What’s just one more?  I say this an awful lot. 

She is so determined to do everything that the other kids are doing.  Coach Lance, who is an awesome leader, teacher, and role model for these kids, always offers Bella the opportunity to adapt her drills if it’s too difficult.  Bella hangs in there every step of the way.  No handicap here.
