Our New Home

It is finally time for the big reveal of our new home.  We moved in right before Christmas, and it is so perfect.  I am excited to decorate and plant trees, but after a major step like this, we are going to take our time and do things gradually from here moving forward.  After all the time, emotion, and money put into this house, we can honestly say that it was so worth it.  We are in love with the way it turned out.

I want to sincerely thank my loving husband, Jake, for funding my dream and turning it into reality and for supporting and encouraging me along the way.  Thank you to our builder, Jake Ray with True-Built Construction, who has turned out not only to be a exceptional contractor but a true friend as well.  Thank you to all the workers on our home, especially our superintendant, Todd, who graciously put up with me throughout these past several months. And thank you to all of my friends and family who stuck around and stayed excited for me even when I hardly ever saw them and only talked about the house every time I did!

Here is our country house:

Your new home is amazing and HUGE!! I presume it is out in the country. Do you have neighbours nearby? Do the girls share a room? I would not have imagined either one of them would be able to use a top bunk but having been reading your blog for a while now I know that they can do anything they set their minds to!
PS: I am a bit of a stalker I suppose as I don't often comment but fyi I started reading your blog while you were pregnant with Bella because I was looking for support from people with children with special needs. My blog back then - www.kendrameiring.blogspot.com and my blog now - www.meiringmeanderings.blogspot.com. I am a terrible blogger though, never get around to it!!

Hi Elisa, the photos look great! Just got done reading up on your blog and had a quick question. I was hoping that you could email me back when you get the chance. Thanks!

Oh my! The house is perfect. I guess moving out to the country won't be so bad if your home is that beautiful. I love both the exterior and the interior designs. It's perfect for a growing family. I hope you enjoy your new home. Thanks for sharing that! All the best! :)

Your house looks so elegant. The rooms and furniture are all stylish. Anyway, I can’t help but notice your little one's head peeking out from the side of the bed from one of the photos. So cute! Thanks for giving us a tour of your wonderful abode! All the best to the whole family!

Your beautiful home's really quite breathtaking. It's so spacious, light and airy, but I guess you need that for the large family you have. I'm on the verge of refurbishing my house later this year. It's been rented out for years and needs a face-lift. Your photos have given me plenty of inspiration to draw on. Enjoy your new home!
